Sandhaan ’24, the official techfest of BIT Sindri, brings together technology, innovation, and creativity through technical events, competitions, and workshops. It offers a platform for students to learn, compete, collaborate, and explore new ideas in engineering and technology.

We are thrilled to announce the segments under SANDHAAN'24 :

Robo Saga

Roba Saga is an exciting robotics challenge where teams build manually controlled all-terrain bots to compete across three obstacle-filled stages. The bot must clear all hurdles and reach the finish line in the shortest time to win.

Drone-A-Thon

This event focuses on building a reliable, affordable, and easy-to-operate drone that can be useful in everyday scenarios. The challenge will be held in three phases, and the winner will be determined by evaluating the drone’s stability, flight duration, and range.

T2B

T2B (Technology 2 Business) is an interactive platform for students and innovators to present ideas, demonstrate business acumen, and transform technology-driven concepts into practical and impactful ventures, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.

ALGOARENA

A platform designed to test algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills, where participants solve logical and real-world challenges, demonstrating efficiency, creativity, and coding proficiency in a structured, performance-driven environment.

HYDROFLIGHT

HydroFlight is a thrilling event where teams design and launch water-powered rockets. It tests creativity, engineering skills, and teamwork, as participants aim for maximum flight distance, stability, and efficiency using principles of fluid mechanics and aerodynamics.

SHOOT AT SIGHT 2.0

A short filmmaking event that challenges participants to craft compelling stories within limited time, focusing on creativity, direction, and visual storytelling while showcasing original ideas and cinematic skills before a live audience.

SITE MIMIC

Site Mimic is a web design challenge where participants recreate and innovate website designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, showcasing creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail in a competitive design-focused environment.

CODEFODE

CodeFode is a competitive coding challenge focused on testing data structures and algorithmic skills. Participants solve dynamic problems under time constraints, applying logical thinking and programming expertise in a structured and performance-driven environment.

WIZARD'S CHESS

Wizard’s Chess brings chess to life in an intense, immersive format where strategy, patience, and smart decisions matter. Players face real-time challenges that test planning skills, focus, and competitive spirit.
